Howard Watch Co. made by Waltham, 23J, 16S, 14K gold original Howard HC with gold cuvette, white enamel DS dial, SW-SS, fully capped lever escapement, jeweled barrel, striped pattern nickel damascene, ornate winding wheel damascene, s#1000122. Gross weight of assembled watch 67.0 dwt (104.3 g). This 23 jewel bridge model was Waltham's top grade product made for Howard. CONDITION: Mvt: GRO...
CONDITION: Mvt: GRO, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, bright lustrous surfaces, some fine scratches on barrel bridge in area of case screw; dial with two hls in center section, hls in outer chapter along edge between 3 and 4, fine scratches in seconds-register; excellent hands; case front opens somewhat short of 90 degrees, case rear lid is missing its Jurgensen-style lip, case shows very little wear, mild soft dent at upper right of rear which is more evident to inner surface of lid, excellent engraving detail; tight bow, crown shows light wear; good glass crystal.
